Mehama Robles, RN, a Central Oregon native, discovered her true calling at the intersection of medicine and motherhood. A registered nurse since 2015 and a proud mother of three, Mehama brings a deep personal and professional passion for supporting families. To ensure our patients receive the most comprehensive care possible, she is also pursuing continuing education in functional medicine, blending holistic wellness with clinical excellence.

Which OBGYNs or hospitals deliver in Central Oregon?Â
You have many excellent options for birth providers in Central Oregon, including OBGYN practices such as Little Medicine Obstetrics, St. Charles Center for Women's Health, and East Cascades Women's Group. There are also excellent midwife practices such as Evermore Midwifery.  Central Oregon is fortunate to have many excellent options. For hospital deliveries, St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon is the only hospital option between Bend, Redmond, Sunriver, Prineville, and La Pine areas.Â
Which OBGYN practices are currently accepting new patients?Â
As of our latest update, practices such as Little Medicine Obstetrics, St. Charles Center for Women's Health, and East Cascades Women's Group are open to new patients, alongside various gynecology-only clinics in the area.
Are Certified Nurse Midwives available? Are they covered by insurance?Â
While Little Medicine Obstetrics does not currently employ a Certified Nurse-Midwife (we recommend Evermore Midwifery if you are seeking dedicated midwife care), we bridge the gap between traditional OBGYN practices and holistic care. Please note that while we operate outside of traditional insurance networks to protect your time and care quality, we are happy to provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
When and where are routine screenings, genetic tests, and ultrasounds scheduled. Â
Early non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is typically scheduled around 10 weeks and is usually obtained in clinic. Detailed anatomy ultrasounds are scheduled around 20 weeks. These are commonly performed at local imaging centers like Central Oregon Radiology Associates (CORA) or Perinatal Associates of Central Oregon (PACO). For added convenience at Little Medicine Obstetrics, most non-urgent labs and select ultrasounds are completed directly in our Bend, Oregon clinic.
