THE STORY
BEHIND THE NAME
Big Medicine was a rare white American bison born in 1933 on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Montana. This bison held sacred spiritual significance in the local Native American tradition, symbolizing a divine gift from the Creator with supernatural powers for healing, protection, and good fortune.
For a time, our family lived right down the road from Big Medicine's home. Montana is a special place, with a special history, where characters like Big Medicine have inspired for generations. We drew on this inspiration when envisioning our clinic and wanted to pay homage to Big Medicine, while at the same time respecting his name. We felt Little Medicine was a reverential way of doing that. We also thought the concept of using "little medicine" was exactly what we set out to do with this clinic: to use evidence based non-drug interventions to nurture health and prevent sickness.

Our Focus
Functional Approach
Underlying everything we do is the framework of functional medicine. Our goal is to utilize evidence based non-pharmacotherapeutic interventions to optimize each individual's health. We then consider pharmacotherapy judiciously and on a case by case basis depneding on a number of factors, including the patients goals. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. From bio-identical hormone therapy to nutritional guidance, we prioritize your hormone wellness.
Expert Care Team
Our team of hormone management specialists is committed to providing expert care that takes a holistic approach to your health and wellness. Dr. Robles is board certified with ACOG and continues to train through the Institute of Functional Medicine and the Menopause Society. Through continuous education and personalized attention, we strive to elevate the standard of hormone management.
