The Robles Family

Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics is truly a family affair.  It was founded and ran exclusively by the husband and wife duo of Dr. Aleksander Robles, MD FACOG and Mehama Robles, RN.

Dr. Robles was born in Yreka California and raised in Humboldt County, just south of the Oregon border.  Following his service as a military physician in the United States Air Force, he moved to Bend, Oregon to snowboard as much as possible at Mt. Bachelor and to work as an OB hospitalist at St. Charles Medical Center.

About 30 or so years earlier, at that very same hospital, his wife was born.  Mehama Robles is a lifelong Central Oregon native.  She was raised in La Pine in a log cabin hand-built by her father.  But the little town of La Pine was too small for her larger than life personality and she moved to the big city of Bend where she has been a fixture of the community ever since.

The two met and a marriage soon followed.  Their family grew and they now have three wonderful children.  You may run into them in the office.  In fact, we hope you do.  We hope you bring your children as well and become a part of our extended Little Medicine Ranch family.
