Our Story
Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics is truly a family affair. Dr. Aleksander Robles, MD FACOG opened the clinic with the encouragement of his wife, best friend, nurse, clinic manager, and Central Oregon native, Mehama Robles.

When we were planning our clinic initially, we intended to commit ourselves fully to the practice of functional medicine. However, when Mehama became pregnant with our third child, we felt like none of the options in Central Oregon were exactly what we were looking for. We took that as a sign and decided to put Dr. Robles's years of experience as an OBGYN to good use, and open an obstetrics focused practice. That's how Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics came to be.

With Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics, we sought to create something a little different. We wanted to create a clinic that didn't feel like a clinic. A clinic that feels like friend's house. Dr. Aleksander Robles
MD, FACOG
Dr. Aleksander Robles has combined his years of experience as a general OBGYN with additional training from the Institute of Functional Medicine and The Menopause Society to construct individualized treatment plans that are personalized to each patient. He is passionate about promoting health, not just treating illness. He has practiced in a variety of settings, but his most rewarding experience was being a solo practitioner in rural Montana where he experienced being a part of his patient's journey from the very first ultrasound to the last postpartum visit. Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics that experience recreated here in Central Oregon.
Mehama Robles
RN
Mehama Robles is an Oregon native who grew up in La Paine and lived most of her adult life in Bend. She applies her coaching certification in functional medicine and her years of experience as a home health nurse to elevate the concierge patient experience at Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics. She is a mother of three beautiful children. Her passion for motherhood is the backbone of the Robles family and the Little Medicine Ranch Obstetrics clinic.
Jewel Leyden
RN
Jewel Leyden raised her children, including Mehama, here in Central Oregon. She supports the clinic with her decades of experience in clinical nursing.
